Mzion Hotel (“we”, “our”, “the service”) respects your personal data. This policy describes what information we collect when you use mzionhotel.com (“the Site”), how we process it, and what rights you have.
1. Data we collect
1.1. Data you provide
- Email address — when you subscribe to our review newsletter.
- Name and message content — when you contact the editorial team.
- Comments and feedback — if you leave any beneath our content.
1.2. Data collected automatically
- IP address and approximate location (country / city).
- Device type, browser, operating system, screen resolution.
- Referrer URL, pages visited and time spent on the Site.
- Cookie identifiers and anonymous analytics tokens.
2. How we use the data
- To send the emails you have requested (new reviews, editorial replies).
- To improve the quality of our content and the Site's navigation.
- To protect the Site from spam, fraud and automated attacks.
- For anonymous, aggregated analytics — we look at trends, not individuals.
We do not sell your data to third parties and we do not use it for targeted advertising outside of the Site.
3. Cookies and analytics
The Site uses three categories of cookies:
- Necessary — keep the basic Site functioning (e.g. remembering your cookie-banner choice). Cannot be disabled.
- Analytics — help us understand which articles are read most. Can be disabled in “Cookie settings”.
- Functional — remember your language and filter preferences. Can be disabled.
You can manage your choice at any time via the “Cookie settings” link in the footer.
4. Third-party services
The Site relies on the following services — each with its own privacy policy:
- OpenStreetMap / CARTO — for the interactive hotel map.
- Unsplash — image hosting for editorial photography.
- Google Fonts — for typography delivery.
- Email-delivery provider — for newsletter subscriptions.
5. Retention
Newsletter emails are kept until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is stored in anonymised form for no longer than 26 months. Server log files are deleted after 90 days.
6. Your rights
Under GDPR, CCPA and similar regulations you have the right to:
- Request a copy of the data we hold about you.
- Request correction or deletion of your data.
- Withdraw consent for processing or for the newsletter.
- File a complaint with the supervisory authority in your country.

7. Security
We use TLS encryption, restricted admin access and regular dependency updates. However, no internet transmission is fully secure — please bear this in mind when sharing sensitive information with us.
8. Children
The Site is not directed at users under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from such users.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced via a banner on the Site and/or by email to subscribers, at least 14 days before they take effect.
